Interdisciplinary sciences enjoy rapid development lately because these areas represent the forefront of the scientific research and technology. We find it necessary to establish an international association to bring together scientists whose research is in the interdisciplinary areas of biological sciences, information sciences, physics, mathematics, chemistry, mechanics, also advanced technology.

 

IASIA is a voluntary, non-profit-making organization of individuals who are actively interested in the interdisciplinary sciences.

 

The objectives of the Association are to promote international cooperation, and to encourage advancement and understanding in the field of interdisciplinary sciences. The association seeks to achieve these goals by sponsoring international conferences, by encouraging regional activities and by providing relevant information to its members.

Luc Montagnier, a Nobel Laureate credited with the discovery of HIV, starts working as a full-time professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Luc Antoine Montagnier, received the 2008 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for his discovery of HIV, has submitted two valuable contributions to the Interdisciplinary Sciences - Computational Life Sciences. His joint to  Shanghai Jiao Tong University will definitely strengthen the support to Interdisciplinary Sciences.
