Visit of Nobel Laureate Prof. Luc Montagnier to Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the Editorial Office of “Interdisciplinary Sciences”
On August 7, 2009, Prof. Luc Montagnier, the winner of the 2008 Noble Prize in Physiology or Medicine for his discovery of the HIV virus that causes AIDS, a French virologist, visited the College of Life Sciences and Biotechnology at Shanghai Jiao Tong University at the invitation of Prof. Dongqing Wei of the College. At the Welcome Reception, Prof. Zixin Deng, the Dean of the College of Life Sciences and Biotechnology, delivered the welcome speech.
